They do evict you and sell the collateral. But banks donā€™t want to do this. This is why itā€™s so difficult to get a mortgage. They rather you pay them back. They donā€™t lend you money if you donā€™t have the means to pay them back. This is the complete inversion of that. Dani wanted many people to get liqudated to make $$$ off liqudations AND let abra aquire the treasury for cheap.

Or maybe it was Sifuā€™s plan and Daniā€™s the fall guy. All I know is this stinks more than a bank.

What even is this proposal? Why isnā€™t there any more detail about what a wind down event looks like? How much is being paid back? In what currency is the payback happening in? Does continuing the project mean that Daniele is no longer apart of it or will he just be the idea guy? JC guysā€¦this just keeps looking more and more like a rug pullā€¦

!! Dissolution must be prevented until the following have been provided to the DAO:

  1. a clear, transparent and auditable report on the circumstances leading up to the liquidation events of 26th Jan, including:
  • why the buyback safeguard was not in place,
  • why the attack was not anticipated given that knowledge of buyback price was public

  1. a clear indication of the value of the treasury to investors now upon dissolution

  2. an estimate of the performance and returns to investors going forwards if the fund were to be maintained and managed

  3. details of steps to be taken to ensure the liquidation events under backing price can not reoccur in the same manner of late

  4. a proposal for changes to management structure or a guarantee of the safety and security of the treasury until the community produces itā€™s own

If they want to pay leveragers out of their own pocket who cares. But it should not come out of my share of the treasury as a long-term holder. I didnā€™t take stupid risks and should not have to pay for it.
