I am a huge fan of Dani but I am totally agree with your words.
Good point with the “realized loss” I was wondering the same, hope it aint the case. Damn.
I am not ok with the merge in any way whatsoever. Instead I would like for the protocol to start heavely buy-back to increase the price close to backing price. Also how do I vote on this, cant see an option of that
This is complete fraud and they are stealing money from the people!
The price that Abracadabra purchases wMEMO for is quite important for us long term holders. SPELL has not fallen as much as wMEMO meaning that we will acquire less SPELL compared to our initial investments months ago.
We need a good incentive and acquisition price for long-term holders to not get completely fucked and basically sell at a 80-90% loss with this merger.
hard to accept… frog nation!
Correct, this will force you realize the loss.
I would like to know how this benefits me as a holder in plain English please especially am in a big loss rn.
If this is true - I say go for it - it is a good incentive for long-term holders to recover most of their losses.
I think this move was inevitable in the long term. Cex’s obviously had an issue listing TIME/MEMO in any form. Regards to the exchange rate of wMemo to Spell this needs to be clarified.
Moving forward i think this could be beneficial but will probably be down voted by Spell holders.
So does the issue regarding liquidations. Compensation for liquidations cant happen without compensating those who didn’t get liquidated as well.
As a holder who didn’t leverage i’ve suffered because of those who chose they needed more exposure.
Forg nation unite against dumb ideas!
I totally stopped believing in this project, it is some kind of failure.
So if I understand this correctly:
We are just trading in our $wMemo against $spell and use existing strategies in growing treasury / shared revenue.
So we were way better of investing in $spell directly.
Because $wMemo / $time buyers basically bought $spell in a workaround against a huge premium?
Hope that the collab will make up for all the losses for us as wonderland investors
stay strong my frog frens <3
I am afraid that this merge transaction will basically realise our losses for us. I was looking forward to revenue share and investment profits within Wonderland to at some point in the future make it back to breakeven.
Now as far as I see there are currently about 81B SPELL in circulation. With the 98B spent on Wonderland acquisition, about 55% of the new circulating SPELL supply would be in the hands of former wMEMO holders.
We would also earn on Abracadabra profits, but basically share almost half the revenue with “other” SPELL holders. So it would take even longer to break-even? What am I missing there?
Yea that’s the question…at what rate will we get Spell? I hope at an enormous discount, its their governance token afterall. If they truly want they could amend things with this move.
Do it only if wMEMO holders can buy SPELL at a big discount.
he is saying they are fighting on two fronts… the backing price of SPELL with buybacks and wMEMO with the Treasury…
…consolidate the assets to SPELL and fight it on the front that is already a MEME coin, listed on major exchanges, and has ample liquidity and a useful function…
…quite frankly this is bullish for sSPELL as bribes will come into play… to vote on new cauldrons and limits… Protocols will want to have their token used as collateral will be in touch, to add to TVL… although it might take a couple weeks for everyone to forget…
Wonderland failed, but didn’t die. Once upon a time, bacteria also worked alone, but now they live in our stomachs and have become part of a huge strong organism. Do it guys.
I was just recently thinking about buying Spell, well thoughts materialize lol?
Where is the RFC of this proposal?
Category reads: “Once an RFC has matured and been discussed appropriately, a forum moderator will whitelist the post to be transferred to the [WIP] Wonderland Improvement Proposal category.”
It seems you’re just wanting to fast track this to an approval, not giving a chance for people to discuss it appropriately.
I agree with the ones who underlined the crucial problems we had in previous months:
- Trust is down, and there is nothing more valuable than trust.
- The backing price didn’t keep our capital safe.
- How many more token transits? We are here for TIME, not SPELL.
- Frog nation is financially weaker, our enemies are richer.
I don’t support this because of timing and looks like a panic move.
What will we do to restore trust? That’s the main issue here. We can’t expect long-term holders to stick around if they get fu˙ked up like this.
Let’s give the community a sense of belonging. This is not just about money.
