I don’t know why but this made me think of Split-the-pot tickets that I sometimes purchase at local sporting events. Half the winnings go back into the treasury and half to the winner.
I like this idea, but my biggest concern would be how to choose a winner. If you get a bucket of pool money that’s billions of dollars, what system would you have in place that people would trust? It would have to be blockchain backed, but computers don’t do random well.
